Convictions

A pragmatic firm that refuses to rest on its laurels, Leclercq Associés nevertheless bases its philosophy on solid convictions.

The importance of context

Analysing the raisons d’être of a site makes it possible to harness primordial positive values. To heighten what already exists while eschewing preconceived ideas, Leclercq Associés conducts historical, social and economic studies, which it juxtaposes to the geographical substrate.

Increasing the number of uses

All our projects develop buildings and complexes capable of generating activities promoting growth and collective enrichment. Far from reducing the site to a formal or exclusively functionalist exploit, our aim is to increase the number of uses associated with it.

Activating ground floors

The ground floor must return to the city. Aware of the importance of this feature of the urban landscape, Leclercq Associés has elaborated an operational database with a view to incorporating it into projects to create welcoming spaces open to initiative.

Emphasising a grid-based rationality

A mastery of the operational and economic aspects of the project is fundamental. In this sense, Leclercq Associés develops a rational and coherent system in which precision of design, simplicity of line, and ease of assembly contribute to a high quality of execution.

Creating centrality

Contemporary metropolitanisation reveals the interest of recreating city centres. The question of perimeters is less important than a capacity to host a wide variety of functions in order to acquire a status of attractive, connected, radiant centrality, integrated into an archipelago strategy.

Enduring means transforming (oneself)

“Work with what you have to sublimate what exists”. Our projects integrate the vital environmental problematic by focusing on the reversibility of programmes and on the energy efficiency of buildings.

Investment is dead, long live reinvestment

We have to take a fresh look at the legacy of the Trente Glorieuses in order to transform it. Involved in the framework of reflections on Greater Paris, Leclercq Associés intends to change traditional thinking about this legacy – as it has already done in Marseille, Lille and Paris North-East – in order to boost a desire for the city.
